quickstart

End-to-end, the first board takes about five minutes.

Go to spirby.com and sign up with your work email or with Google. The first sign-up creates an organization for you. You are the admin.

You start on a 14-day free trial, full access, no card required. See plans and trial for what that includes.

In settings → organization, set a subdomain. Your public board will live at <your-subdomain>.spirby.com. Subdomains are unique across spirby and follow the same kebab-case rule as everything else.

You can change it later, but every link you have shared will break, so pick something stable.

In the admin dashboard, click boards → new board. Enter a name like “feedback” or “ideas”. Spirby derives a slug from the name; you can override it.

The board is public the moment it exists. Visitors can see it at <your-subdomain>.spirby.com/b/<board-slug>.

See create a board for the full set of options.

Send the public url to your users. Anyone, signed in or not, can submit a post and vote. Anonymous submissions land in your moderation queue for you to approve or reject. See moderate anonymous submissions.

Section titled “5. set up a custom domain (optional, paid)”

Once you subscribe, you can serve the board from your own domain (feedback.yourcompany.com, for example). See set up a custom domain.
